Christmas in Collinsville 2010

Friday, December 10th 6 – 9 p.m.
Saturday, December 11th Noon – 3 p.m.

Friday, December 10th – 6 – 9 p.m.

  • Champagne Walk – $10.00 per engraved glass. Start at Blumen Laden, 41 Bridge Street and visit the participating merchants for food and beverages (a map will be provided).
  • Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides – 6 – 8 p.m. Free Starting at the entrance to the Canton Historical Museum. David Leff will give a short history talk during the ride.
  • Chestnut-Roasting – Gallery 101 Main.
  • Luminary Walk, Carolers – Luminaries lining the streets of Downtown Collinsville, and Christmas Carolers strolling.
  • Unique Shops and Merchants – Stop in and visit the unique shops and merchants.
  • Gallery of Trees & Holiday Boutique – Visit the Canton Historical Museum and view their Gallery of Trees and Holiday Boutique. Buy tickets to win one of the Trees donated and decorated by local businesses and individuals.

Saturday, December 11th – Noon – 3 p.m.

  • Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides – Free Starting at the entrance to the Canton Historical Museum.
  • Santa Claus – Collinsville Savings Society (12:30 – 3:00 p.m.). Bring your camera.
  • River City Arts Center, 7 River St. – 1 – 3 p.m. – “Make and Take Crafting Workshop”
  • Puppet Shows – Location to be determined.
  • High School Christmas Carolers – Strolling Downtown Collinsville.
  • Unique Shops and Merchants – Stop in and visit the unique shops and merchants.
  • Gallery of Trees & Holiday Boutique – Visit the Canton Historical Museum and view their Gallery of Trees and Holiday Boutique. Buy tickets to win one of the Trees donated and decorated by local businesses and individuals.

    I agree,we we loving living in Collinsville too! My daughter will be caroling in Collinsville with the Canton High School Chamber Chorus. This event is always so much fun and really gets us into the spirit of the season. Our two favorite events are the Collinsville Halloween Parade and Christmas in Collinsville. Come rain or shine, we always go!
